What makes IDA’s girls soccer cleats different?
IDA Youth cleats feature a wider toe box to better accommodate a growing foot. They also feature a custom stud configuration similar to our women’s specific cleats to better support female biomechanics which includes many short, round studs to optimize traction. Our Girls’ HEELFIT in the NextGen line incorporates an increased cushion at the heel to provide comfort for all day play whilst also lifting the heel slightly to alleviate strain for growing feet.
What does GRLSFIT+ mean?
GRLSFIT+ technology is available on the Next Gen line of IDA Youth cleats. It lets you know that this upper was designed specifically for her and utilizes a mesh nylon composite upper to keep her light on her feet while moving throughout the pitch. GRLSFIT is available in our Travel line of youth cleats and utilizes a soft PU leather upper.
How are IDA’s girls soccer cleats backed by science?
IDA’s women and girls specific designs are backed by foot scanning, fit testing, and wear testing to better understand the female athletes’ biomechanics. Research suggests that a girl's foot changes the most during puberty and we believe there are still minor adjustments that can be made to youth sizes that will help them transition into a women’s specific fit as they grow into themselves and the game.
Are they better/safer for my daughter?
